I have been playing league for a while now about (2 years) and i have never gotten out bronze it suck but i really want too get out,but yet it never happens i just got demoted back to bronze 3 i am just done i cant take the Legit stress of being made fun of by friends and peers because i'm bronze no one ever wants to play with because i'm bronze and it really hurts i know that i should not spend time with people like them but i find it so unfair that the "SOLO q" is based on 5 v 5 i mean why call it solo q if they don't judge u on how you did ? so i was wondering are there any people that feel the same way?. I just am so lost and torn between the fact should i just give up on ranked for good or keep going ? thanks and good day

My tips on climbing elo is not to care about it, the sooner you realize it's not a big deal, your attitude about the game will be better and you will play better because losing elo will no longer ruin your day.

Care about your performance, not your rank. Focus on being as good as you can - noticing YOUR mistakes, and doing as well as you personally can.... not on winning the game. If you focus on winning, you're likely to blame others and not improve - even if you win. You're also far more likely to get frustrated. If you focus solely on your own performance, then you won't get frustrated about other peoples' mistakes and you can be more honest about your own. Correcting those will lead to you getting better and as you become a better player, you will eventually rise in rank...

And you'll have a whole lot more fun on the way.

Sorry, I quit LoL last year(over ethical concerns relating to leaverbuster that I won't go into detail about here ;)). I just continue being a part of the community because I still watch the game's competitive scene and because I respect the game itself.

But best of luck. I hope you can find the right formula to keep your mind in the right place. I posted a thread around when I quit the game to give advice to people looking to find the right mindset... some people seemed to find it helpful, maybe it can help you too:

It's tough to keep your mind in the right place, but it's important.

Maybe try practicing playing someone in normals until you are really good with them. Someone like Annie or Morgana that are flex picks. Top, Mid, and Support.

Hey! Sorry you're having a tough time. I only started playing ranked this year and was put into S1 (struggling very much to get into gold), besides the point, i think you should do what's best for you. With these friends of yours; have you tried talking to them? If they're gonna continue to be rude and stress you out, maybe they're not what I'd call 'friends'? This is just my opinion as I don't know them. In any case, if you enjoy League, and are as determined to move up like I am, keep your head up and keep trying, if you don't enjoy it, then I would honestly say to hell with it. I hate ranked myself but I'm just in for it for the free skin lol. They should at least make the ranking system a little easier to climb, like wow, earn 100 LPS just to have to WIN more games to get promoted? At least if we lose, we shouldn't lose any LPS :s I agree about the 'Solo que' as well, if it's a 5 v 5, why is it called Solo que? You're not being judged on how you play...like what if we get trolls? Anyways, just remember there's always a light at the end of every tunnel, no matter how dark it may be. Good luck!
