Is Brand good?
I need a new mid laner, and Brand looks pretty cool. So, is he strong? What are his strengths and weakness? Good build? Advice appreciated, ty:D

Hes got good poke and his stun is very nice...his bread and butter would have to be his ult and the shear dmg it dose to every champion it hits
Id say pick him up and his zombie skin while you can
Brand is very good in team fights when they group up because of his W and R. Only problem is his R can be cancelled by things like enemies separating, zhonya's, etc. so it's pretty unreliable. But if you are thinking about getting Brand I would pick him and his zombie skin up ASAP. It makes it so much more enjoyable to play.

he's like a low range version of xerath with a little more reliable damage due to his ult
he's okay in some compositions, pretty easy to play against imo tho.
yeah. his ult sucks 1v1 though. never ult him if there aren't some minions or other summoners around.
Brand was one of the first mages I ever played. A whole lot of fun, great skins all around, and some great VO lines too.
STRENGTHS
- Great AOE damage / wave-clear
- Some utility with a situational stun combo
- Teamfight menace
- Underrated passive that is basically a free ignite
WEAKNESSESS
- Low mobility, very flash reliant to escape ganks
- High mana costs
- No self peel outside a situational single-target stun
TIPS
- Incredible tower farming ability means that you can play to your win conditions early, which is basically to get to midgame
- Combo the stun by laying Pillar of Flame down first then fire off Sear before the AOE activates
- The DPS / killshot combo is dependant on you landing Sear but it's so much fun to watch (Sear->Pillar of Flame->Conflagration->Pyroclasm); in the right circumstance you'll melt 2-3 enemies instantly
