If I just lost my hand and I need to bind scripts to my mouse buttons to actually play the game? I know rito isnt bound by ADA but I think this would fall under a reasonable accommodation and I'd be totally fine with a * next to my name I just wanna keep playing is all.
It depends on what type of scripting you are referring to.
If the script performs certain actions for you (aiming skillshots, dodging skillshots, etc), then no. No it is not.
If it helps, I have seen computer accessories which include the mouse and many buttons set up so that everything may be accessible using one hand. The buttons are bindable and you could easily set them up to use items and abilities in the game.
This is unrelated to the above, but you could probably get away with a gaming mouse such as this with some practice.
Kinda hard to say... I mean, they can't make that exception without expecting lots of people to abuse it.
I hate to be that asshole... it sounds like you're going through a trying ordeal. But it would be hard for me, as a Rioter, to make that call easily. I would be trying to think of alternatives.
Have you heard about the footboards, for instance?
I'm not about about availability on those, but they seem like a decent option.
I would recommend asking Riot directly via a support ticket at this link. It's better than speculation.
You might want to submit a ticket to support on that one. I do know that people are allowed to rebind their left mouse button, so maybe?
if you're talking about just binding keys to your mouse then it's fine, i suppose it depends on what exactly you're doing
Honestly I cracked up at the title. "Is it ok to script a little" lmfao but I honestly have no clue, it's best not to take the word for it when it comes to possibly bannable offences. So try and contact a Riot worker before actually doing it (:
