Is the new pick/ban phase extremely laggy for anyone else?

I have no problems playing the game whatsoever. However, when I'm in pick/ban phase, it's extremely laggy. This has caused me to miss multiple lock ins of a banned champ, causing me to get a 30 minute queue wait timer. Just wondering if this is a rito fuck up or something on my end...because it really shouldn't be this laggy.
