Mystery gift on birthdays?
I think it would be nice if Riot gave people mystery skins on their birthdays or the day they created their account. Just as a "thank you for playing for a year" thing.

Instead of a mystery gift they could make specialty skins for 1st, 3rd, 5th, year birthdays.
oh man i would love a birthday mystery gift from Riot lol, my birthday was yesterday and i spent it helping set up a surprise party for someone else >_<
I dont mind so much cuz birthdays mean more for teenagers then young adults but it still felt a little depressing lmfao.
A grand idea. Either that, or an anniversary gift for each year you've stayed active without your account going inactive or elo decay.
Yes, let's make as many threads as possible begging for free things in hopes that Riot will give in to 'customer demand' because they're supposed to give us free shit.
Nah b, we're talking about Riot here. The company who gives IP boosts on week downtimes because of their servers yet some receive 1000rp even though they lost nothing and probably couldnt play in the first place (Never forget)
Or rather than birthday (which is adjustable to make it spammable and/or farmable) have it be on the day a year after the day that you joined

What if they did something else that was special, like enabling mystery gifting to birthday people? Now your friends can do something fun, nice, and reasonably priced for you and Rito can still make money.
That would probably be a huge pain in the ass to make though.
i like the idea, but it would cost them a lot...
but all the people with too much time with too many accounts can get many gifts...

It would be nice... but still, a great hassle ._. think about a player that never logs in, should be he rewarded as one that never logs? also getting away their only source of money... guess how many people gifts skins on birthdays! they were done for this reason, among others!
You would see a pretty amazing statistic. 95% of LoL players would have their birthday on the day this starts.

I use to play guild wars and area net did exactly this. But for your character's, ie on your characters birthday (1 year from creation) and eveyr year after your would get a "mystery gift" which contained fun doo dads to play with :)
