Ap Tristana Retrospective

While I'm not a veteran to this game (my first game was during the end of season 3) one of my favorite things that was in the game was Ap Tristana. Let me tell a story. I had just bought tristana. I tried her out as an adc in a normal, and i thought she was meh, I did okay and didn't really have that much fun. Then I decided to play a game of aram. Subsequently, that game I rolled Tristana, while I was mad that I got a champion that I didn't really enjoy playing, my mind was blown when I saw the recommended items. 3 dorans ring start. As a complete noob to this game, this was my first time seeing an ad champion that could not only go ap, but do good with ap. In that aram game I had so much fun blowing up enemies and jumping away. Then immediately i took this mid in a SR game. Again I blew up enemies with my Dfg ult combo. The fun I had with ap Tristana was infinite, blowing up enemies, watching enemies burn while you spam your laugh, accidentally saving enemies with my ult, accidentally saving my enemies x10 by ulting them then sending them across the map via glitch, and my favorite thing to do; jumping on enemy to enemy getting during a teamfight and getting a quadra. By this time, I considered her as my main champion. Then, disaster struck. I had read an article titled 'League of legends 5.1 forecast'. Reading this article, I saw that my beloved dfg was going to be deleted. But I thought ap trist could live through it. I didnt need a dfg to 1 shot burst, and there was sure to be a new ap item to be added. But the very next day, I see the announcement for a tristana rework. This scared me, i didnt know how it would work, and if ap trist would still exist. I had kept up with it via surrender at 20. While at first, the 0.9 ap ratio on her e and no w ratio nerfs, it looked like it would work, but it was nerfed. This had killed my beloved ap trist. But in all honesty, Ap Tristana was unhealthy to the game, while fun to play as, its not fun to be deleted by. And she still was built as an adc. Its just good to have experienced ap trist and sad to think about the good days that I had with her, but league as a game is always growing and wont stop and buff ap tristana because I want it to be good.
