Item idea to counter health stacking (ie Mundo so that the champs dont need nerfs or buffs)

Madreds bloodrazor is a good starting point.

Lets look at the issues: too many odd stats, costs too much and has a bad build path.

  1. Odd stats

Odd stats work when there are few and they are well managed. Viable examples, Wits end, Trinity Force, Liandrys

  1. Bad build path and costs too much

Who manages high costs well? Trinity force! What can we learn from trinity? It has a really great build path that leaves you satisfied with each component.

So to make a legendary tier item with a high cost for its excellent stats the item needs to have a good build path that leaves the player satisfied at every step. This seems obvious yet is so often an issue. SO i said it. :D

K so what do you propose? Riot has great early game and mid-game items, we have lacklustre end-game items. So make the item build out of the already existent mid and early game items.

I propose: 3 components like trinity:

  1. Stinger (1250)

  2. Phage (1325)

  3. Reworked executioners calling (2 x long sword + 455 g = 1175 g [same or similar passive] [no crit] [30 ad])

+100 g

=3800 g

Stats (subject to tuning)

Attack Speed - 40% as

Attack Damage - 50 ad

Health - 250 hp

Passives: (assume unique)

10% CDR

Rage from phage

Grievous wounds from executioners calling

Steal - Every third auto attack deals 10% max health on-hit magic damage and heals yourself for half that amount (so 5% of enemies max health)

Magic damage prevents this from being OP. It means it does not proc lifesteal cannot crit and cannot be amplified by armor pen or armor reduction, thus is the balance.

Thoughts?

Don't look at the numbers they are arbitrary look at the concept

EDIT : POTENTIAL PROBLEM CHAMPS:

Kayle

Teemo (ha who cares)

Diana maybe?

Vayne potentially

I feel like the opportunity cost of giving up a core item ie deathcap or nashors tooth for example would provide enough incentive to combat this issue especially because the damage output would only be larger to champs with > 3k hp

Blade of the Ruined King already exists to counter high-health champions. It's just that the majority of players don't build based on the situation, and just follow the standard build paths all the time.

This item is massively OP for a variety of reasons:

  1. It basically turns any ADC into Vayne, and would also be a must-have item for any AD melee champs as well because of the extra stats.

  2. The fact that Steal does magic damage makes it more OP, not less. This means that ADCs will be doing loads of AD and AP damage, making it harder to counter them. The priority will become attack speed, as this item will shred enemies even with standard health.

  3. Steal would need to work like Vayne's ability (every third attack to the same target), otherwise this would drastically increase the power of this item such that every ADC would have to rush it just to remain viable in the lane. Two hits to minions, then a third hit to the ADC or support for massive damage. Not unlike Cait's ability, only far more frequent (and stacking it with Cait's ability would be so insanely dangerous that she would rise right back up to the top of the OP ADC list).

In short, the items in-game aren't perfect, but mostly because some of them are weaker. Rather than craft new items, Riot should look at tuning the existing items to make them more attractive. High-health champions will likely shift the current "meta" build for ADCs and people will learn the value of the items that already exist.
