Ultra Rapid Fire vs Riot
I really did not want to get into this debate over whether or not Riot was going to release URF this April 1st or not however I cannot help but make a board discussion just because of how disappointed I am of Riot. Leading up to April first Riot released in a statement that they would not be bringing back URF on April first, aka April Fools day, a flurry of nervous comments greeted them asking if they were joking or not and many players prayed for their beloved game mode to return. I have always been open minded and trusting of riot as they produce grade A content for the most popular and amazing game, so leading up to today I had a feeling of excitement at this brand new Draven themed game mode, maybe even a return of ascension as some mentioned.
** What I received was appalling and absolutely disrespectful to me as a player and supporter of this game.**
I have spent over a few hundred dollars in this game, on non essential aspects , the least you can give me as a company is what I ask for. When the players cry out for URF give us URF. It's as simple as that, what are you afraid of Riot? Why can't you give us URF? EVERYONE LOVES URF<3 Well most people at least XD. I wish that this was Riot mistake and they said sorry and move on however something much more scary is happening. Riot is completely ignoring everyone's comments for URF. If you look at the three searches I did in the last two days for Red Tracker (Filtering ONLY riot employees comments) you will notice none of them respond or comment on the matter of URF. you can see the three key word searches below: Search one - "Urf" Search two - "Ultra Rapid Fire" Search three"U.r.f"
Absolutely no results. The fact that Riot think this is an okay way to treat the community is very concerning. I ask you guys what would you rather have? Some shitty 30 minutes of coding and copy pasted Draven heads? Or do you want the sweet 80% Cool Down Reduction madness that we all love.
On a final note I'm simply going to show you how many comments contain URF in three hours on one of the boards... Search four - "Urf"
