Its very unsettling that trolls and feeders do not take the punishment systems seriously anymore

I think their stats are bogus. When they say toxicity is down I think they mean the number of people actually punished. Tribunal has been gone for years. The system has pretty much been automated this entire time, yet some peoples reports such as myself are totally worthless. To the degree that I've had people call me n*gger in game, wish death and disease upon me and my progeny etc. All the things they supposedly have automated systems to pick up on. I haven't gotten a single message saying anyone has been punished. No matter how hard they raged, fed, went afk whatever the case may have been......they still played every day after that. I know because I'm petty and I look. So the question becomes....how many people's reports have just been marked as frivolous? Did an actual human being go look through all the reports one day I made and decide none of them were worthy? So now people can pretty much troll me with impunity. I've had games I'm sure my entire team reported someone, plus an enemy or two. Still nothing. I think that's how they skew the statistics.

How many thousands and thousands of players reports have no weight? I mean if everytime I report someone you never punish them, and everytime I report someone who doesn't get punished it lowers the weight of my reports.........someone has to see the vicious cycle being created for certain players. This is why so many people bitch about trolls yet Riot staff comes with these statistics about the small percentage of people that are being problems. They are only counting the people they punish. AFK's are supposedly rare and everybody has the same chance of getting them, but I've had 3 or 4 in my last 5 ranked games. 2 in the same game. ALL were rage quits not connection issues, and ALL played more games afterwards. Now all they have to do is play another 10 or 15 games without afking and they can screw someone else over with zero repercussion because that's how the system works.

Another game just played 2 more afk's. They swore they weren't duo'd but they dced and reconnected pretty much simultaneously. No loss prevented either. So this brings my total up to 5 or 6 afks in 6 games. Pretty much averaging out to one a game. That's 3 out of 6 ranked matches I never even had a chance in that I had to sit in politely and lose LP. These are the things that make people toxic and bitter and helps create more trolls. Bad enough I'm not allowed to go afk myself in situations like this, but there is literally no compensation in the slightest form for games you never had a chance at winning because it was a mismatch numbers wise. Sure people win 4 vs 5's but I've been stuck in a 3 vs 5 in 2 of my last 6 ranked games. I shouldn't be expected to try to win 4 vs 5's either. Especially in ranked play where people are actually advancing off of these mismatched games. This has been a problem for like 5 years now and is the root of a lot of anger. The sad part is.....the people who dc'd made it back after about 4 or 5 minutes so they probably didn't even get a leave, and the damage was already done. They were in our base by then and they were 3-4 levels behind. And of course they immediately start pushing lanes and getting ganked repeatedly. Think they had the decency to surrender? No I had to sit in the game for 10 more minutes because god forbid you surrender and lose 2 extra LP ......in a loss you caused...... to at least give the people whose game you ruined those 10 minutes in a game they have a chance at winning. Things like this are why I go a month and sometimes more without playing. It gets to be a miserable experience after a while. The Riot staff will tell you bullshit like you just remember the bad things more than the good. No, I remember the 2 games I played in the last 48 hours that only had 3 people in them. An hour or better of my time completely wasted. That's what I remember. Yet afk's are supposedly these mythical monsters that we blow out of proportion and remember in greater frequency than they actually occur.

They've never taken any of the systems seriously... Not until they hit the 2-week and permabans.
