Check My Pc Build

I play LoL on low settings on a 2007 HP Vista Home Premium and have never lagged or DC'd. I have 70 ping and 30 FPS.

i don't think it will run league at highest settings on 60fps. maybe if you turn off shadows and reduce to medium. you should go at least 8 gb ram and i would rather buy a used gtx660ti (even just a gtx660) than a gt card. good luck though

You could change up the motherboard for something that is a bit less expensive, as this one has USB 3 headers, and the case has no USB 3 ports, but it's not necessary. No, a lot of those parts aren't very good, or just aren't necessary. Get an i3 processor, they are more expensive then AMDs, but Intel's are a lot better than AMD processors right now. Most consumer CPUs will come with a cooler, and the i3 definitely has one, so that is unnecessary. Better to get a full size ATX motherboard, as you have more options for upgrading in the future, and you don't need really need the small form factor. You can find a good full ATX motherboard for about $8-10 more A 60GB SSD is not going to be enough to much of anything on, and just having the speed of an SSD isn't worth it unless you get something in the ranges of at least 120GB. You can get a 1TB HDD for $5 more, a much better price-to-GB value If you are just going to be playing League, you don't need an optical drive (you don't really need one for much of anything now). You can either download the drivers you need, or install the driver disk onto a flash drive from another computer. An optical drive is just a wasted 20 bucks.
