Fiora Advice?

Alright, so I wasn't really sure where to put this, but I there's a better place to put these kinds of threads, please let me know.

Anyways, I recently got a Nightraven Fiora skin from rerolling some skins, and I figured I should probably go and buy her once I have the IP since my only top laner I own is Teemo. I guess Kindred and maybe Ashe could also count for that, but I don't see a lot of people playing those champs in that role. I try to use Gnar whenever he's on free week, so I can't be consistent with him. So, I'd like to ask about how to use her, what to build, what masteries to use, etc. I've never played her before, and her skills seem a bit confusing only because, again, I haven't played her before. Any sort of advice is appreciated!

P.S. Is Nightraven Fiora a good skin, or should I just save and reroll it away? I read a skin review online but I'd also like the opinion of the general community. Personally I think the splash art is great, but I haven't seen enough of her model in action to judge her based on that.

Thanks! -DarkfireAhri

Ok so basically the playstyle of Fiora:

  1. harass with q in lane only to hit vitals, don't worry about the minion argo from q hitting because passive makes up for it.
  2. prioritize what you want to parry, parry the damage or the cc? which ability is a key part of their kit? etc.
  3. in 1v1 only use your ult after hitting 1 or 2 vitals so you can do more damage, if you start with ult they will run away after hitting the 4 different sides
  4. your teamfight is really bad unless you are insanely ahead, what you really want to do is either flank and kill enemy backline, kill bruiser diving your backline, or maybe if you are behind just try and give aoe heal to everyone.
  5. Fiora is a mainly split push champion, really good against tanks, and same as all other split pushers you need game knowledge in order to do well with her
  6. Fiora is actually a pretty hard champion to play, you need alot of practice with her so don't give up, you will eventually get good at her.

what to build on fiora:

  1. don't get any attackspeed/crit items, its a bait
  2. copy the pros, thats what dyrus does and it works fine.
  3. generally any item that gives you ad is can work, you just need to check what the enemy team is like and depending on how confident you are how much health you want to include in your build.

mastery for fiora

  • you can go 12 0 18 for grasp and q people when your grasp is up to heal more and damage more
  • or you can go 18 0 12 with warlords
  • warlords and grasp helps you compensate for the mistakes you make as fiora in lane with the healing it provides
  • i don't believe fevor is good, since if you are hitting all your vitals, the whoever you are trying to kill should be dead before you get 8 stacks anyways

runes for fiora

  • pretty much ad attackspeed, if you want you can include scaling cdr.
  • the attackspeed is to help with csing waveclear tower takings since you won't be getting much attackspeed from items.

Ps. please take tp for top lane, if you don't you pretty much loss lane
