Gold V to Silver V

I played on NA for a quite a while, then moved to Germany. I was Silver 3-4 I believe at that time. I took a break and started playing again. I got to Gold V on EUW. I stopped playing for a bit then moved back to NA. So I transfered and after one game, I was put in Silver V. I ahve been teeter-tottering back and forth between silver 4-5. Now I have my bad games, I do. Especially when I was playing Kindred. Haven't gotten the complete hang of her.

I don't blame anyone but myself for still being in Silver. But the fact is, no one listens. It's like their pride is bigger than their will to win. They refuse to listen to pings or anything for that matter. It is so difficult to win when people would rather die than listen to pings. I don't be toxic, I say please every time I say something. I just want to win people. I'm thinking about making a thread for us silver folk to help us get better. No one will give a shit I know, but I'm trying.

It can be rough in silver, (especially low silver) I know this isn't technically the thread you were talking about making for help getting out of silver, but just wanted to throw my $0.02 in there.

  1. In low silver, you are essentially still bronze. This means that team fights will be sloppy at best, and non-exsistant at worst. Therefore, do not pick your champion solely to compliment a specific team comp. Learn to hard carry with specific champions that low elo people struggle against. Right now for low silver I would imagine that is usually Jax, Katarina, Akali, Tryndemere, and Xinzhao. I could be wrong about that part specifically, but just pay attention to the champions that are always picked and always seem to carry, (ban them if you have are the one banning!)

  2. Map awareness: this is always important, but it is like 100x more important in bronze-low silver. Why? Because no body has it. When you become map aware in this elo range you become a force to be reckoned with.

  3. Tower diving: Never tower dive before level 6. there is a HUGE chance you wont make it back out from under the tower in time and end up feeding the enemy teams laner.

  4. If supporting, play a champion that is good for picks and/or can punish bad positioning. People have an exceptionally hard time vs Blitzcrank, Leona, and Thresh in this elo. They are strong picks in any elo anyway, but in bronze and low silver people just cant seem to understand how screwed they are when blitz grabs them under his own tower.

  5. CS > Kills always. People in silver tend to get very aggressive in lane, sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. Unless you have a VERY clear advantage and ward coverage and map awareness to back up the play you think you are going to make in lane, don't do it.

I realize you probly have seen most if not all of the above information before, but just in case you havn't, thought I would throw it in there.

dont feel bad man, i made another account just to get out of bronze and i did it. it sits comfortably is silver 3 while my main account that i love so much with all my skins sits in b4 and b5 ive played in silver and then came back to bronze thinking i can get it out of here but this season has been hell, 505 games played on my main and i cant leave bronze i accept im not gods gift to league and i fuck up a lot and make stupid mistakes but the problem ive been running into is the same as you. no one wants to work as a team. i constantly have lanes asking for ganks when they are pushed up to the enemies towers and then just the general asking for ganks before im even level 4 ( typically play kindred ) and its all around hell so my best advice is play someone who can carry games and who doesnt fall behind and become useless after you make a mistake
