If I see a high elo player saying, "So and so champ is too strong" it's much more credible.
Well, there are the forum badges. That aside, using someone's rank to discredit their argument is a logical fallacy you should avoid. It's not only rude, it doesn't make any sense. The idea stands or falls on its own merit.
In a way I have to agree that rank plays an important role in balance discussions, but in another I think this would mostly be used to flame people no matter what they say, even if the comment isn't balance related. People would just look and see [Bronze] and instantly ignore what that person had to say, or make fun of them.
yeah sorry i have good game knowledge and don't play ranked besides placements so i just stay in whatever i get plus i dont see how that would help much since i've seen self proclaimed golds/plats being complete idiots here and in game

Dude your hidden MMR dictates the rank you are in more than your play. I am Bronze, and if you pick Malzahaar before I pick you would not have a chance. Actually you would only have a chance if you had me with a direct counter. Also being an Malzahaar means that most wins you have, will be because you at least have a functioning front line. In many ways Bronze is more of a challenge because you get far less, if any help at all. You spam an ult bot, and get a lot of help; so based on that your game knowledge is small.
