Jhin early reload

Playing Jhin for a while now I have had this happen a few times. Jhins abilites reset his reload timer. Sometimes when the meter is about half way or 2.5 seconds from reloading Jhin will reload even though the timer hasn't finished. He will finish halfway through it for some reason. I do not know if this is a bug or a glitch or something. Just want to know what is going on. Note: This only happens when Jhin has not fired all 4 of his shots.
