Remake feature is a limitation??

I will boldly state, I'm not a long-term player of league, I have only been playing for around 10-11 months, and my experience will likely not match with yours. However, I would encourage you to listen to my WHOLE opinions, as I explain why the remake feature, as of lately, been a limitation for me. To provide background, I run league on a fairly average business laptop handed down to me by my parents around three years ago. The model itself was manufactured five years ago. Despite it's age and flaws, I'm able to run league by itself at a constant frame rate of 60 fps. This has been the main driving factor for me to play league: the lack of system requirement to run league. I will provide two examples of a game I played during a Saturday session. One game where I failed to connect, and the team refused to remake, and one where the team did remake.

During the first game, I had several tabs open from during when I was waiting in queue. Therefore, during the loading screen, my system actually ran out of memory, and thus bluescreen'ed to perform a memory dump *or so I believe. I did restart my laptop, and connect to the game. The time to perform the actions was about eight minutes, and within the eight minutes, I was down 9 levels and around 50 cs. My team was behind by a 2k deficit, alas, it wasn't long before our advisory got first tower. The enemy team starting to snowball started to overextend, and perform general mistakes. Through these mistakes, I was able to catch up on farm and kills. Eventually I started to snowball myself, and became the team's main carry. Via good team-fighting, my team managed to push into their base and siege'd both nexus tower. However my team, and I were caught for overextending, the still-ahead enemy team reverse the positions, and siege'd our base, thus resulting in a lost.

For the second game, I had a client-side error, where the client stopped responding during champion-select. The client started to respond again after a while, but, I was not able to connect before the three minute mark. Unlike the first game, the team I had decided to remake. Therefore, I was unable to comeback into the game, and was unfairly punish for a client error.

The point is, in the first game I had a CHANCE to comeback and carry the game, because my team did not remake. Whereas the second game, I was unfairly punished by the remake system because of my low-end system. I will admit, that I have sink an unhealthy amount of money into this game, so I am bit bias about punishments, however, I believe my point of injustice still stands. While I do understand my post will unlikely to be read by riot, I still feel like the remake feature should be executed in that it is not a limitation, but a quality of life feature.

I understand that sometimes you end up disconnecting due to reasons that aren't your fault, I recently lost 20 because my team remade when my computer decided to shut down for an unknown reason. However, more often than not the remake feature has allowed my team to remake from a game that is potentially 1 man down and I think that is worth it in the end. There's always a chance you can come back from someone being disconnected for 10 minutes, but there's a larger chance you won't and that's why the remake feature is there. In my experience, and i feel is the same experience of the majority of players, less games have been lost due to an afk after the remake feature has been put in, so it's doing it's purpose. It's not perfect, but it's definitely an improvement.

I kinda think the remake system would hurt almost as much as it helps since people start a game intending to play, and most wouldn't have the time to rage quit in that period

meaning those who cause the remake most likely may have connection issues but even if they were to remove remake, you would still have the same problem if you lost connection and your team surrendered before you came back, or if you lost connection for good

it would help if Riot added a way to see if the player pressed the quit button or lost connection
