A Success Story
A little story.
Today, in Solo Q, I was gonna go top Irelia, but Darius got through so my teammate offered to go top Vayne and let me Mid against Veigar. Appreciated that move. In game, first couple of minutes I ward their red; their Hec dies to our Ekko, good lead. Ekko continues to invade since Hec is obviously behind and wins some kills but eventually enemy team started warding their jg. Ekko died a couple of times, and our Blitz said the following:
Blitz: "This Ekko is tilting me" Blitz: "I'm done, I can handle 20 min queues, later." and leaves game.
Our graves left alone at bot gets shitted on while farming under turret. I was about to give up but Ekko and Vayne kept farming and kept a positive attitude. I decided to farm mid and roam bot to help Graves, while letting him farm all bot. No flaming or anything. Ekko and I synergized well and got a couple of kills mid, which brought me back in the game. I reached my Sheen powerspike a bit late but after that I started picking off enemies.
We won the game. A 4v5 from 7 minutes in. They had a late game Jinx, Veigar, Hec, Darius and Morg.
Lesson I learned that I thought I should share: Don't give up, most silvers don't know how to push their advantage.
This was Silver V AKA Elo Hell.
EDIT: Just wanna add, Irelia is such a good pick into Veigar because of her tenacity and her mobility through Q.
