I won a majority of my placements (7/10) and i was silver 5 last season and i even did flex queue in the pre season and got put into b2 for having 7 out of ten wins but i just finished my last placement game and was put into Bronze 5... Why

I have a sense that they took the GRE-like grading system that first games are more important I have two accs, main diamond 5 Alt Plat 5, went 5-5 on main and 6-4 on alt Guess what? I got Gold 1 on main(which should not happen as I won half of my games) and Gold 2 on alt(LIKE WTF)? The only reason I could guess is that I won first 4 games in a row on alt and lost 3 in a row on main... maybe. reply to me if you felt the same thing.... Seriously from Diamond to gold is too much(given my mmr is not too bad as diamond 5)
Also, until the last game I was still matched with placed Plat 2 players... I am so confused
It's not supposed to give you your true rank. It's supposed to lower you.
Actually, you got really lucky. The fact that you were silver 5 before means you were BARELY above bronze elo at the END of last season. I would have expected you to get lower than that, because the whole point of the reset is so that you have to climb back to where you were before. And you don't have very far to go. Lucky you.
