Riot... Please fix Sion (List of bugs on Q,E,R and autoattack)

Alright so I am a Sion one trick. I wanted to start season 8 with of course playing my trust worthy boy Sion but right now its close to impossible. He has had bugs in the past but it feels like every couple of weeks another one gets by, with his Q being bugged now and with some times auto attacks dont register being new this last patch. At this point I dont want to play Sion right now and as a one trick that means i kinda dont want to play league which sucks because I enjoy this game but with my favorite champion having a bug on 3 out of his 4 abilities is insane... Please riot fix Sion.

Alright before I go over the bugs let me mention that I don't have any videos of me personally because i have a slow computer that can't record however i do have other peoples videos which if anything proves that the bugs are not client side, but anyways i have been ranting to long here are the bugs

Q- Decimating Smash What it should do: If the channel is interrupted, Decimating Smash goes on a reduced 2 seconds cooldown.

What it does: When the channel is interrupted it does not go on a reduced cooldown and instead goes on a full cooldown.

The bug on his Q is pretty huge and is as fall as i can tell came out of this last patch. So instead when a champ stuns me or stops my Q in a team fight i can't wait two seconds and try to protect my carry with a Q instead i become useless unless i have my ult which in most cases i use to start the team fight Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_GBMztixKc

E-Roar of the Slayer What it should do: Projectile enemies stop upon colliding with terrain or reaching the end of their trajectory. What it does: Instead if the minion is at low enough health it just dies without giving Sion gold nor does it go the full length or give damage to enemy if hit Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv2y_6speto

R-Unstoppable Onslaught What it should do: Sion charges in the target direction for up to 8 seconds

What it does: Sometimes Sion will charge at the opposite direction if the cursor is near the Ui at the bottom (Sion portrait, mini map, and ability icons) Now this one is really annoying, but self explanatory Sion sometimes ults in a different direction instead of where the cursor is pointing if the cursor is near the bottom of the screen next to or on the Sion portrait, mini map, and ability icons. Autoattacks What it should do: Do i need to explain?

What it does: Stops mid animation and doesn't register Alright that is not really explaining but this is kinda new but has really happened a lot this last patch.This has also happened to me even in passive which has costed me kills. Many people have told me they have also experienced this bug so i know this is not client side.

I really want to start my season 8 climb but with all of these bugs, they are costing me games. Please Riot fix Sion asap.

Heya!

I have updates regarding the first issue, where the Q cooldown doesn't refund correctly. We've been able to track down the issue and the fix is ready to go out with the next patch coming out next week. The E bug is on our radar and we're working on a fix for it in the future.

As for the other issues, some of them pertain to the general game more than being Sion specific and are being looked at (Minimap/Portrait clicking over the HUD)

UPDATE: : I've also fixed the issue where Learning W in zombie mode did not provide him with the proper HP gains. Also still working to get a fix on the E bug by 8.3. Thanks everyone for the replies!

Your Number 3 is a really bad one: It's not a bug but a REALLY stupid mechanic; You can 'self target' abilities via your own portrait, and hovering your portrait at the start of/during Sion ult will cause your cursor to 'target' a random direction. This should be changed; for your own portrait, teammates' portraits and the minimap as a whole (I really don't want to have to think about dodgeing minimap with my cursor anymore, cost me a lot of ults already).

As an Otp Sion Master on EUW i can say all those bugs are rly annoying , Q bug being the most important in my opinion (I found Q bug since last patch, think it wasn't before it) already created a discussion about it (though it got pretty much ignored).

In a game I was playing yesterday using Tiamat on Sion had no animation. He would just stand there frozen in his idle then the Tiamat would activate after a pause. I wasn't able to do any AA resets or other animation cancels because of it.

Riot, please acknowledge you're working on fixes!

These can seriously swing the balance of an entire laning phase (or game). Especially the E bug. When you 100% perfectly aim an E to get the damage and slow — and it all gets taken away by the minion insta-dying instead of hitting the enemy — it can totally wreck an exchange to the point of making a guaranteed 1-for-0 become a 0-for-1 instead.

And that bug has been around for months, at least. It comes up in EVERY game I play, usually several times.

Yeah, it's gotten to the point where I actually don't want to play Sion right now. I'm too scared to join in the fun of starting the new season because my main champion is bugged to the point where he feels terrible to play. We really need fixes on these bugs, most of them have been around for months but this new Q interrupt bug is especially driving me nuts.

Don't forget Q not dealing damage or knocking enemies up, W giving no bonus health or less health than it should (for the entire game) if you learn it while in your passive, E pulling minions towards you instead of pushing them away, etc.

Sion is on the path to becoming the next Morde...

You also have the Q not doing anything, Q sometimes DCing people. Yes there has been cases of people crashing when using a fully charged Q. And the fact that Tiamat does not work for the first 3-4 autos when you are in your passive

Came here to see if anyone made a Sion bug thread too, sad that not only his bugs didn't get fixed in 8.2 but it added new ones.

If you fix his Q interruption cooldown, be sure to make sure it works against knockback and knockup skills, it was a longstanding issue that displacement type skills like Naut hook could set it to the full cooldown instead of the reduced one.

Wow, I ran into the Ult direction bug the other day...I was at my outer top tower and someone came behind the tower and I tried to ult them downward, but instead Sion started going up. Totally screwed up the play.

Same problems here. I tend to sion support with the meteor max E strat. I run into the E bug all the time.

I haven't noticed the q or autostrada k bugs before, but it seems that every half a year riot breaks sion e. It's been annoying the shit out of me for like 5 patches.

Same shit happens when you use Taliyah's ult while your cursor is near the Portrait, it just goes the other direction.
