Riot recently posted an article stating that Championship Riven is not legacy, and would be sold with 4 other championship skins later on. I live in Korea and attended the s4 world which was awesome. They gave a card to everyone attending. This card had a code that gave players all 3 championship skins, including riven. People seem to not know about this but I just wanted to state it.
To be fair the Korean servers were not up when Championship Riven was made available. Not only that but the Eastern side of the world (eg Japan/China/Korea) have different rules that they follow. Heck i dont think they have a Limited Edition rule since most skins are readily available, and legacy skins gets release too frequently. is it fair? not really, but then again we are going to get it again so there is no reason to complain since we will get it again!
