Theory on why the Harrowing isn't coming this year

So as many people have heard(I think), the Harrowing is not supposed to come out today since apparently any event can happen at any time. However, Riot has released a Harrowing story, which sounds odd if there isn't a Harrowing going on.

What I think is happening is that it's actually April Fool's right now, and they are putting out all the "Harrowing" stuff just to tease us, yet there is no event or anything.
