First Win of the Day Bonus

I would like to propose a change to the first win of the day bonus. At the moment it's a first win 23 hours later bonus. Why doesn' it refresh at the beginning of every new day? It's an NA server so picking a midnight somewhere in NA should only make a 2 - 3 hour difference for most people. Then, every day at midnight, everyones FWotD bonus would refresh.

I just don't really like the way it is now. Somedays I play later because of work, and somedays I play earlier and I feel like it messes up the timing on my FWotD and then I actually don't get it until 2 days later. If it refreshed so it could be gotten anytime every day, then it wouldn't matter when I played.

Just my thoughts. Feel free to comment and like (or dislike).

Well it's 22 hours Firstly, which helps.

I agree though, there are days you miss it. I can't do weekdays until after work so like 6pm at earliest, but then sometimes I play in the morning on weekends (so like Saturday morning) and it feels wrong because that win Saturday morning is my first win of that day, but I have to play again that night or forego the bonus.

That said, say it's midnight. People may start just doing it right before and right after midnight each night so they only have to do it every other day. I think the system wants to reward you for playing frequently. So I kind of understand it.

In the end it's 150ip per day. Getting 6/7 per week isn't bad at all.

YES PLEASE. I have the same problem(kind of). I play much later on weekends, but during the week I get home earlier and I play somewhat earlier than during the weekend. So when I play on Sunday, I don't get my bonus until Tuesday because the timing is off.

You can get it in beginner bots on Twisted Treeline. I have actually failed to get it by winning too quickly (<7 min).

I can very much sympathize with the sentiments here. I've always liked systems that were more of a 24 hr reset rather than a 20-24 hr cooldown timer. That being said, I see the mentioned potential problem with people playing a couple games right around the reset time. The only way I know of to mitigate this is to set it to whatever the naturally lowest volume time of day is (maybe 4:00-5:00 AM Eastern if I were to guess). Just a thought.
