People, there is no need to panic any more.There is no need to strive trying to find the champ u wanna pick.U know why? Well, the answer is simple : there is a SEARCH BAR located on the TOP RIGHT of the champion selection pool. Although i know that im saying something obvious, it seems that people dont know that this thing exists.The reason im saying that is because i ve returned to queue so many times cause of someone failing to select his champ in time (he obviously couldnt find him srolling his way down to the champ select pool). And no, he wasnt afk, he had just banned a champ. p.s : sorry for my english, i may have made some mistakes since its not my mother tongue

Yes, but that doesn't address the problem of not knowing your champs name/knowing the champs role. There should be a filter to help with champ select much like what is implemented in the summoner profile and store. If you're support for example - click the support filter and all champs with a support primary or secondary will be shown. Why this isn't already a part of champ selection is beyond my knowledge and quite frankly disappointing.

There is..... type in marksman, support, tank, fighter, mage, assassin, and it comes up. You can also use things like mage|assassin to pull up both pools.

The only thing I have a problem with, is champions like leona who are typically support but are under "tank" or there being no "jungler" filter.

seriously? that's pretty cool actually. i'll have to try that. i still think a few filter boxes at the top of the screen would have been a better choice though.

check boxes would be neat, idk though. Trying to weigh the benefit of having it be slightly easier, with riot inevitably fucking up the entire client again with every small change....
