Do Honorable Players Get Matched More With Honorable Players?

I have a green ribbon, and I've noticed over time that I seem to get placed on teams with several ribbon-ed players (often green also) while I don't often see ribbons on the other team.

Does riot have something in the matchmaking system where it preferentially places ribbon-ed players together?

The only other explanation I can think of is that it never shows ribbons of the other team on the load screen and I just somehow didn't notice this all along. But I don't think that's true.

Thoughts? has anyone else had this same experience?

I agree, I see a lot of ribbons on one side than the other in ARAMs I've run over the past few months and generally I'm on the side with the most ribbons.

I noticed this too the other day. Myself and 2 other team mates had ribbons, while the enemy team didn't have any. I know I used to see ribbons on the other team, especially "Honorable Opponent" ones. Maybe this was changed recently and you can no longer see ribbons on the other team...

I like the idea of placing honored players together more consistently, while matching dishonorable/ignored players together. I imagine that would decrease the amount of trolls, or at the very least put them together for a taste of their own medicine! More often than not, when I take a few week break from LoL, it's because of some punk troll ruffling my feathers, making my desire for the game temporarily extinguished. This idea definitely has the potential to raise the game's current lacklaster sense of community.
