Dear: Support Mains

As a support main: My job is to keep you alive. The most frustrating thing is when your carry runs into the middle of bot lane while we have no minions and they are both there. Especially when you are still at base. It makes you feel like a failure because you cannot carry them. It's even worse when you get flamed because they die.

Well, if you're talking about us support mains that have been doing it prior to Season 4, then I really don't know! I've mained support since Season 3, and things have gotten MUCH better for supports since Season 4.

We used to be the "whipping boy" of the team, but now we're a legitimate threat both in lane and mid-to-late game. Sure, we may not always build damage, but our presence and utility can oft times make us a priority target (Soraka, anyone?).

People like us that main support have a predisposition to being supportive players. We probably started as healers in MMOs, or we like to help others in real life. Now that we actually have a meaningful role to fill in the game, we are content with our lot in LoL.
