@RIOT,@Community - Solution to AFK'ers/Disconnects (RANKED) Version 2.0. Something is gotta be done!

So, I did read the first version of this post which stopped being relevant very fast. But this matter is very important and I don't see anything being done about it, we just have to live with this. For some reason, lately, I'm a disconnecters/AFKers magnet in my Ranked Solo Queue, and it has got to stop, I thought, "fine, I'm gonna live with it", but it has gotten ridiculuos.

I know solutions like nullifying points of the match, or prevent points loss is not an option, because when people is losing, someone will just disconnects making the team not to lose any points and this would get exploited, or any similar solution.

But for the moment, anyone disconnects or goes AFK, just because there's no real punishment to them, they just rage quit or whatever, because they only lose the points and it is only like any losen match, there's no difference, you gotta get reported a lot and you get a crappy punishment and you get to play again and disconnect/afk again and make your team lose again.

I think you have to punish afk'ers/disconnecters much more seriously. Not only double points loss, not that this is even happening, but 1 week ban from Ranked and/or punishments of the sort, so people will think twice before going afk or disconnecting.

Many will argue about, "What if my computer crashes? What if my modem fails? What if it is not my fault?". Well, too $%@#ing bad, if you have a crappy comp or crappy isp or whatever, don't play ranked, or play and live with the consequences, I mean, if you are ranking and getting disconnected a lot and you know you get disconnected a lot, why the $%@# are you ranking? Stop it, you are making a lot of people lose their points because of you. And if you disconnect not so oftenly, well, live with the consequences, because at the moment, we all are living with the consequences of people disconnecting or goign afk. And this happens too damn often if you ask me, lately to me, it has been something close to 1 every 2 matches, I can say with certainty that I lost 4 of my last 6 losses due to disconnecters/afkers, ridiculous.

So yeah, I'm sick of this and nothing is being done, at least I'm not aware of anything being done. I have no idea how Riot evaluate these things, but I think if the community backs up itself, something has to be done.

So, I strongly believe that a much more severe punishment will make people think twice before disconnecting, going afk, or queueing for ranked if they know they have connection problems, regardless of it being his/her fault or not, because at the moment, the other 4 members are losing their points regardlessly of it being their fault or not.

Something needs to be done.
