The Rant of A Support Main.

Okay, first off I'm a janna main of 3 years now. I love support, and I really like how it feels when my efforts in laning phase lead to my draven or vayne going 1v5 and winning. THAT makes me feel great about playing support. However... there are some MAJOR downsides to this role.

  1. You almost NEVER get credit for your work, no matter how easy YOU made the kills.

  2. This one is probably just me: But when I'm having an off game, and my adc isn't getting what he/she needs from me, I usually have to deal with extra guilt because the team will blame the adc and then I have to stand up and own my mistakes.

  3. There are like 1000 highlight reels for every other role for every 1 support highlights.

Sometimes I find it hard to love playing support, but its all about those good moments, knowing you just might have been the only thing that held your team together. THOSE are what we LIVE for.

Who cares about credit?

All I'm after is that sweet lp baby

If you're a good player, you're a good player, why do you need attention? lmao

Personally, I get my own self enjoyment that I helped set up those plays/saves even if I don't get thanked. The best support makes can turn the tide of a game which in itself is worth more than a "thank you" from my carry. Being the one that can play the map well comes with a lot of good perks that transfers over into other areas.

Case in point, I was a bit salty, two games before were train wrecks. So, I sorta snapped and http://prntscr.com/dq8963 Notice the fed Illaoi? Yeah, no I wasn't having any of that and chased her ass down after laning was over. Everything they had belonged to me.
