Would Tencent approve of the way Riot is managing League of Legends?

(2) or would they be surprised to find out what really goes on behind the scenes with the good ol boys club/upper management?

(3) Are profits all that Tencent investors care about?

(4) Would LOL be better now had they not sold the company to Tencent?

(5) and at what point do they get nervous and pull the plug on LOL?

Since Tencent already owns Riot I am pretty sure they already know what Riot is doing and what is "going on behind the scenes". If they wouldn't approve they wouldn't have bought Riot.

edit: In order to adapt to your edits.

  1. Pretty sure. They bought Riot because they wanted to learn how successful companies are managed on the western market...something Tencent has failed to do so far.
  2. They already know.
  3. It's an investment company, so yes.
  4. Since they have no influence on the game itself: No.
  5. They currently have absolutely no reason to do so. It's probably one of the, if not THE best investment they ever made (at least in the gaming area).

Yes No Yes No Never.

League is the best and most popular game in the world, because of the Riot studios. They're smart and they wanna make money. They dont want them to force Rito into making bad changes.
