If a you were leblanc and you had an enemy vi have to go mid since their lissandra never connected would you try to shit on them or hold back some? I'd be a little nicer and let them farm a bit or just let them jungle and not push lane. so that the game would hopefully be even at some point but she just had to always try to kill me. It was my first time Vi too and I see why she's so popular, excellent clear times and ganking but I never even got to do even that because I was stuck defending a lane.

Edit: looking back I probably shoulda roamed way more to support the other lanes.

Sorry but no.

No one shows me that kind of mercy when it's MY team that has the AFK, so I have no reason to do so.

When mid is AFK, I simply refuse to occupy lane. Because let's not pretend that with a item 1039 will do anything in mid other than feed.

There's 2 ways of seeing this :

Let them farm up and be nice. Although this could be potentially worse if their AFK does not return. The chances of winning a 4 vs 5 is very slim (not impossible, of course). This could be like prolonging their inevitable defeat. Like torturing them mentally (I'm pushing it, but you get the point).
Show no mercy by ending it ASAP. This can be seen as mean for exploiting the fact they're missing a player, or as a blessing since they can now queue up for another game faster.

On a side note, I would prefer the latter.
