This list is to me, as generic as it gets.
There are scenes that surpass those, for me
- In Jormungand where Koko revealed her goal of "world peace".
- In TTGL, Simon's man up episode.
- In Tokyo Ghoul, the "half dead/bone scene" (only appears in the manga for whatever reason), the fight against "Jason", or ofc "Owl capture".
- HxH's Chairman vs Ant King, pissed Gon scene, fight against "bomber" and well pretty much most of the entire HxH tbh.
- Ghost in the Shell film, the intro.
- The Big O, the last negotiation scene.
- Love Live, first and last performance of the first season.
And more.
EDIT: I wanna add that the last conversation between Ed and Truth in FMA: B is also one of the best part in all anime history.
Let me go ahead and speak about hunter x hunter. While it was a great anime, i did not consider the pissed off gon scene to be anything special. It was cool to see him beat the crap out of someone but tbh there are many problems with that scene. If Gon was able to become that strong at the cost of his life why didn't the chairman do that as well when facing mereum. I could go into detail about the things wrong with that, but most more importantly is the build up and the intake of the moment. The moment took way too long to build up. He was pissed for like 5-10 episodes idr and you saw it coming. When it finally came it was overdue and it wasn't so climactic. Also he didn't do anything amazing on his own, he just drew power from his anger, it's basically like saying naruto raging into kyubbi mode is worth putting in the #1 spot. I think it's just bullshit.
Anyways the bomber scene was actually really good. When he sacrificed his arms it blew my mind. That was definitely a contender for the top spot but I did not consider it as good as a moment as any of these. Hunter x Hunter being such a good anime, I find it easy to talk about, but there aren't many moments in hunter x hunter that stand out. After 150 episodes, there are like 5 moments that particularly stand out. It's just a well flowing well put together anime with great character development. As for individual fights i'd honestly put this very low on the list compared to the actual rest of the show. This is not a show you watch for the fights.
Edit: if i was to have a 6th spot the bomber would be it, and tbh looking at it from an outside view that scene probably looks better than most of these other spots, the truth is once i knew the story that moment didn't have an impact on me as much as the others, I MEAN FFS HE HAD HIM TRAPPED ANYWAYS THERE WAS NO REASON HE NEEDED TO FIGHT HIM ANYWAYS, it's honestly more stupid than brave

I don't know that I could do this, because it's constantly changing... and it really depends on what mood I'm in and what type of moment we're looking at...
I don't think I have a static factual 'top 5'... but I might have to start doing 'top 6 -theme- scenes' for my website... thanks for the good idea ;)
I agree with the Rock Lee and Gaara fight. That was an amazing moment. I still watch that fight pretty often. All of Rock Lee's fight scenes are really good because they are so different. One Piece is a horrible anime to me, I can't stand it, so that I can't really connect with.
Some of my favorite moments would be a tad different..
- Sasuke and Itachi fight (or even the moment they share when fighting Kabuto)..
- Everyone's reaction to Chiffon Fairchild's Illusion Turn in Freezing.. Or Chiffon's demeanor while fighting Rana and Satellizer in season 2. Or Chiffon just being Chiffon. Haha..
- The revelation of Eren/Annie as titans in AoT.
- Tokyo Ghoul's Jason vs Kaneki .. The whole montage, not just the fight itself.
- Akame ga Kill - Akame vs General Esdeath. While most fights in the anime are great period, this is the one showdown most people were waiting for I feel.
- Magi - Morgiana's djinn powers finally coming out.
There are plenty of others, but those are some high points for me for sure.
