i know a guy who has been spamming zac ever since he got buffed, along with duoing with people who are better then him

he is about to get play just because of this and is trash talking everyone because he is good

does this really make him good for abusing someone who is op? he is absolute garbage at everyone else and as soon as zac gets nerfed he will be back to being trash.

He was hardstuck gold V until zac got buffed

Well if he climbs by using the meta champ, he'll get matched against better opponents. And they punish him harder for mistakes he makes and overall he improoves more when playing with slightly better players. I would not say that he directly is a better player just because he plays the meta champs, but it will make him a better player.
