[Q_Q thread] Elo hell? No such thing. But it still feels like a conspiracy.
I went from Silver II to Bronze IV (just lost my Bronze III rank). I get that at this low of elo it's suppose to be hell getting out of, but I've lost 11 out of my 12 games, none of them were good, evenly matched games. Even if the team didn't have random disconnects or bullshit interruptions like in one game our ADC afk'd because he "had to talk to his family," I'm stilled paired with 4 other players that feed hard. (and I'm not suggesting 11 lost games dropped me from Silver II. A long streak of losses has accomplished that). I'm not a pro. Sometimes I do bad, but I was Silver II.. isn't there a reason for me to have been placed there? I have a basic grasp of how to properly play the game, you know?
On these boards when a player complains about their team losing them the game, the boards respond with "Go better yourself, carry your team." When you talk about having a high k/d/a, or even just having low deaths/high cs/high gold, and still losing, the boards say "It's a team game, cant expect to win it by yourself." Truthfully, the latter is correct, sometimes a hyper carry can lower the skill the rest of the team needs to win, but mostly everyone needs to work together, focus on objectives, and not rogue out.
And I swear it feels like something is throwing me into a team of people who are famous for running in circles, chasing kills while the other team backdoors (usually with me trying to stem the damage, but ending in getting turret dived and needing to escape and they take the turret anyway), and all around not focusing on vision, cs, and objectives. Just statistically.. how likely is it that you're paired with 11 teams that play like they just opened their account? I can understand if the other team is equally disorganized and making mistakes, but of course not, we always go against the most organized, grouped team the game has to offer.
Unless I'm running in and feeding the enemy team early, I shouldn't be the common denominator, but there it is, 11 lost games. The enemy team always seems to have one or two heros on their team that carry them to victory and out of ELEVEN. FUCKING. GAMES. we haven't had a single one. One more time... I was in Silver II! I am not a bad player! That alone should somehow let you know that while I may not be that hero carry, I am not the cause for my losing streak.
I'm not saying there's an elo hell, because I'm watching as the other team does amazingly. Somehow there's a way to get the game to pair you with a team that consists of players proven to know what the fuck they're doing, and I need to figure out why I'm being put on the opposite team.
