Should I Be in Gold?

I reached gold v sometime in the middle of this summer but i can't help but think it was just me being lucky. In normal queues i am paired with many middle silvers, but when I am playing ranked I am placed with Golds and have a fairly hard time comparing to anyone in the game. I understand ranked games shouldn't be as easy as normals and I have only played about 27 games, but Is it possible me being able to climb to gold from silver I is a coincidence?
