Idea for How to deal with "Trolls" in champion select.

So, currently being on penalty for dodging to avoid a very bad situation in ranked, I had a thought. Couldn't we hypothetically have a "Why did you dodge" questionnaire that you can optionally fill out after relogging? Using my last game as an example: I was first pick, and called top. after locking in, second pick says that's too bad, i'm going top, and locks in quinn top. I spend the majority of the time trying to calmly talk to them to get why they did it, and why they wouldn't just switch to adc in that situation, as to not hurt the other members of the team. at this point, the chaos from the quinn player had wound us up with a quinn jungle, and a master yi support. after contemplating if i should try to go through with the game, i decided it would be wiser to dodge. With the questionnaire idea, after i log back in, i would be prompted by a small menu, similar to the report menu, giving me a list of reasons why i would dodge, an optional select a player who was in champ select with you tab, and a small explanation box. it would be handled like reports, and chat logs from champion select would still be there. this seems better than the suggested idea of a votekick in champ select, because it's not really abusable, and it could help catch situations like that before the game begins.

There's like, a million things Riot could do about it.

But the fact that they are so diligently avoiding the subject, I think it's safe to say they don't really care about it

while i do agree that this would be helpful, i see a lot of people abusing this feature just because they thought their team comps were unfavorable. hopefully there would be a way around that

Don't you believe that the problem here is the definition of "troll"? Besides, rather than having quinn jungle, wouldn't it had been better duoing at top and completely annihilate their top along with getting their turret in 5 minutes? What's incomprehensible is that the yi decided to support at bot rather than duo-jungle, because seriously, how great is Quinn at jungling? If anything, why did yi decide to go jungle as yi when Quinn was already a mess? Imagine this scenario, what if Quinn could ONLY play Quinn? What if you were trying to FORCE Quinn into picking a champion/role the player in question wouldn't had been able or even willing to play? Is the fault here really that Quinn decided to pick Quinn when you were already top? Can you say for certain that the underlying cause of all these problems isn't because of your already set-in-stone-view that there is a "meta" which ABSOLUTELY must be followed for unknown reasons, where about you and the others in your team tried to enforce this "meta"?

I can't see your proposition coming true anytime soon. The reason as to why the dodge-penalty even exists is because it's supposed to encourage people to accept the comp they are in, accept the people they are playing with rather than run away from it all, not to mention the lower queue-time. Encouraging someone to leave in order to "punish" someone based on a personal perspective is nothing I believe Riot strives to do.

So you think that people who don't follow your meta are trolls that should be banned? Get out of here.

Also, are you the Saethwyr on lolking who is Bronze 1? Why are you even worried about meta at bronze levels? It doesn't even matter. Bronze players need to stop focusing on the "meta" and start focusing on improving their map awareness and general skills.

It's a low elo way of thinking. They think that following the meta is somehow going to automatically give them some huge edge against the competition. They want shortcuts to winning games. They are the same people who are more than happy to see the enemy team disconnect for an easy win. They have no problem stomping a 5v4 game and trash talking the entire time. Yeah, good job buddy... you got handed a win. That's all you really want. You don't want to get better at the game and actually be good... you just want to win by playing the meta, playing only champs that are considered "op", using the pro builds, etc... but you don't want to have to actually ward, or use map awareness, or learn how to freeze minion waves, or bother looking at an enemy's level before you tunnel vision on them trying to get a kill.

Nope, you just want everyone to follow your meta because for some reason you think it's really important to winning at Bronze levels.
