Why this game gets trolled - intent feed/assist enemy team bans not severe enough.
Ever get trolled in a game by a teammate who is just bent on making your team lose? Yeah. Everyone has. So often they can't count.
One thing everyone notices about when this happens- the troll doesn't care that he's going to get reported. Why? Because nothing, or next to nothing, will happen to them, at least for several more months. To put it lightly, it doesn't even matter to them. At all. So they keep doing it, and we, the people who actually want to play this game, regardless of how its going for us, are the ones who have to pay, because we're the only ones who care that so many of our games get ruined by toxic behavior like this.
The bans for intentional feeding and assisting the enemy team need to be MUCH more severe. Granted, we don't want people getting banned because people thought they were trolling, when they were in reality just having a bad game, but it's really god damn easy to tell which is which in 98% of cases. Those ~2% of cases we can't know for sure from the tribunal- Sure, let them off. It's what would have happened to them, essentially, the way things are now, anyway.
I propose all proven cases of intentional feeding and assisting the enemy team (the kind of intentional throwing that gives the game to the enemy team for free, or very low "cost") have a greatly increased punishment in order to actually deter people from doing it all the time, since right now, very few trolls feel "deterred". One issue is that, since many players have multiple accounts (especially trolls), IP bans be implemented for more severe rulebreaking so that trolls can't just switch accounts for a couple weeks.
First offense intent throwers should be given an IP and account ban lasting a minimum of one month in my opinion. Yes, it's a one time offense, but a one time offense that a player should never do. Any player who intent feeds, even once, is going to display further toxic behavior in later games. They might be better at hiding it from the tribunal after the fact. So why punish them so lightly, when as soon as they come back, they'll be toxic again? Maybe not in the same way, but intent feeding is extreme toxicity and players who do it should be punished extremely harshly. This game is a privilege, not a right, and people who play the game to troll should be taught that the community, and Riotgames, won't stand for it. People who play games to troll others shouldn't be given that privilege.
Second offense intent throwers/enemy team assisters should have their accounts deleted, and their IP banned for a longer period of time, a minimum of 3 months, I would say 6 months personally. Maybe even life. Because these people- don't deserve to play. They'll repeat their offense. They love fucking with other people online, and as such, they should not be given the privilege to play this free game only to troll other people who are trying to have fun.
Thanks for reading. I think anyone who isn't intent on trolling games can agree with this. If you don't troll, all this serves, is to make your gaming experience much, much, much better.
