Controversy on IP Pricing
Okay, so here is my struggle: I like to play a lot of different Champions that are underplayed because who doesn't love an underdog? So recently I've become interested in
Galio, but one thing that I thought was kinda off about him was that if he were underplayed, then why charge 4800 IP for him? I mean, surely if you lowered the IP cost on him, he certainly be played more even if it were by newer players looking for their role. The thing that is weird though is that while I want to play this Champ that is 4800 IP, the rest of the overplayed champs such as
Katarina (3180 IP),
Akali (3180 IP), AND Satan himself
Teemo (1350 IP), are all lower prices than these and then some people don't understand why these Champions are all over the place. What I'm trying to say is that allowing champions that are considered to be overpowered be exponentially cheaper and having underplayed champions be more expensive than that is kind of asking for people not to progress forward and try new things. It makes it to where people don't feel the need to progress forward because they found their main in a little squirrel who kills like nobody's business. My point I'm trying to make here is that if you want people to try out your new champions, then you have to do something about these prices. Why make someone who is underplayed such a high IP cost? YOu are asking for people to ignore him. Guess I gotta go save up my IP now so that I can enjoy this underdog...
