Who is going to go from 30 ping to 90 ping (probably the same ping EC were complaining about all that time) on August 25th Your "central" server is not central

Most of the ping complaints I saw from east-coasters were in the 110-140 range.

Going up to 90 puts you about where I've been all this time - and I live in Oklahoma.

Right now I am on the East coast, Virginia specifically. My ping hadn't change a lot since the server moved. 90 to 85 or 80 at least.

Geographical center is not necessarily the center of the internet network.

It sounds to me like you're going to want to make sure your ISP is on that PoP list they keep talking about, because your taking a very long way around to get to Chicago.

If you look at the internet backbone, the only other place would be Texas, and Texas is at the very bottom of the United States.
