The amount of Queue-Dodging I've had to do to get my W/L-Ratio up into the Positive has been ridiculous. This was starting this season out where every single match since finishing placements was every single person on my team feeding 30 kills in 5 minutes then /FF'ing@20, EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE (and this is NOT an exaggeration), eventually FORCING me into Bronze with a 11/48 W/L-Record. Sometimes the system insists on trying to put these provisionals or people just fresh out of provisionals on my team, but 90% of the time (particularly the ones with very negative W/L-ratios), they will just feed & cost us the match that we could've won easily if they were actually competent. Got up to Silver I a couple of times only to end up having troll match-making force these losses upon me (and I had actually been demoted into Bronze TWICE this season). Last Season I finished in Silver I at promos but didn't actually play through the Promos for Gold V, and yes, the Grind is just stupid, I actually have to wait these days for a Duo-Partner to show up & then we manage to often win together pretty consistently, but YOLO-Queue ? Good God Solo-Queue has got to be the most troll-the-shit-out-of-you system ever to have been designed (and my current main Duo-Partner was in Gold last season and he agrees with me that most people who are in Gold were only carried into Gold from luck-streaks of the Match-Making system since a lot of them don't even play at the level of the people in Bronze).
Here is another crazy notion : I found more competent players more often in Bronze I than I do in the Silver V-II range and high-silver feels like it's more about either who has the « competent smurf(s) » versus the « provisionals » matched into their team(s) ...like, seriously, the first match this entire season that lasted for more than 20 fucking minutes was from BRONZE-RANKED queue-matching, because people in Bronze I SEEM TO ACTUALLY BE COMPETENT, but once you get the Silver V people, holy shit, they get RAPED by the Bronze I ranked players, and you just CANNOT carry FOUR feeders (I do NOT care if you are a DIAMOND-Level of CHALLENGER level player, YOU WILL NOT FUCKING CARRY AGAINST A FOUR-MAN SURRENDER-VOTE, YOU CANNOT WIN NO MATTER WHAT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!).
