Why can't I play?

So I just got stationed in Korea about a month ago. I already know I can't play on the Korean servers since I don't have a Korean SSN(?). I would like to know why we can't play on there servers? I am basically going to have to go an entire year without playing because of this rule. I know it's not a big deal, but in my off time I would love to play some games. Is there anyway to get around this? Can a Riot employee maybe help so us military stationed here are allowed to play? Thank you.

It's not Riot's policy it's South Korean law.

Because the east asian riot servers are run by a company called Garena. What happens over there is out of Riot's control. I'd suggest trying to see if some of the other servers work better.
