Will rewards be based off of highest rank or current rank this year?

Today I logged on and found out I had decayed out of plat. It's a bummer but nothing I can do about it now. The question is, do I need to go back into ranked for a while in order to reclaim my shiny plat border or can I go back to skyrim for the next couple months and be k

Pretty sure it is based on what you end the season with. If you are ok with Gold, you are free to go back to skyrim with the new release of Silver+Gold not receiving decay. But if you want plat, you'll have to get back to it.

Ended up at 75 lp and won my first game so (hopefully) this should be a non issue. Thanks for the clarification.
