Packet loss followed by being unable to reconnect

alright so im having a suuuuuper weird bug that just wont to away. Occasionally I will just get massive amounts of packet loss, like just sliding across the screen with no particle effects visible whatsoever. If I try to disconnect then reconnect I'll simply be unable to reconnect. The client will start up as normal, then I will load to 100%, at which point it will say I have reconnected, then it will never actually load into the game. Restarting the client does not fix this, repairing the client does not fix this, I can hop accounts and get in game properly with no lag. If I stay in the game long enough, it will just give me the "you have disconnected, please check your internet connection" message and kick me back to the your game has crashed screen. I'm coming here because nothing comes up when I attempt to google this, which is usually my first reaction.
