Hello all. Day been well?

Today, I am going to discuss Riots justice system, and how horrendously flawed it really is. Now, we have here, a game that basically revolves around hostilities towards one another... just like real sports, in real life. It's competitive, everyone is in it for the win, even if that win doesn't even amount to anything, like most casual non-ranked games. it's that primal urge everyone has within them, to be the best, no matter the cost, no matter the reason.

There is no avoiding this... it is impossible. The only way to remove hostilities... or 'toxic players' as you say, is to remove the whole competitive aspect of the game entirely. And let's be honest, no one wants that. Now, what we can do to help relieve some of this, is to remove, or... have stricter.. no, actual punishments for those who cause most of these players to be hostile or, 'toxic' in the first place. That's right, i'm looking at you, you bloody one minute in afk'ers, you feed for the fun of it garbage trolls, and you instalock warriors.

Why are there no punishment to these people? The people who start the toxicity... the whole root of all of our problems, and lead cause of the games decline in fun. When I look at Dunkeys video, while he is not entirely blameless, he was indeed led to his situation. Trying so very hard to rank up, only to lose his diamond game because someone felt it funny to feed, and lose the game for him entirely.

I ask you, is this fair? Does Dunkey deserve to be punished, while that disgusting little troll gets to continue about his day, potentially ruining the game of others... causing more strife, and ultimately leading into more bans? No! I say, it is not. While Dunkey definitely deserved his ban... the one in question deserved a ban as well.

But he did not get one, now did he? And... as the current system goes, he never will. I ask you, oh glorious Riot! Please, implement a new system that allows you to view these games, to see those who purposely try and ruin others games. There's been many suggestions on how to do this. You, Riot, who has more then enough money to do so, can surely find a suitable solution to this!

So why, I ask you! Why is there no solution?! How have we come this far, yet you still turn a blind eye to the problem at hand? Is it greed? Has your hefty pocket of gold weighed you so far down, that you no longer care about the quality of the product at hand, but only about lining your pockets of the blood, sweat, and tears of those who follow you aimlessly, and kiss the ground you walk upon?

Perhaps... we'll never know. For you have fallen past your glory days... you're no longer the Riot I once knew.

I can only hope some day you wake up to the real issues at hand...

Dunkey broke the code of conduct and got banned, simple as that. And guess what? Excessive trash talk, or even a little bit in something like Soccer will get you penalized or even ejected from the game; it's called "Unsportsmanlike Conduct"

Newsflash to the 25 and under crowd out there that was raised within our current 'special snowflake' society: LIFE ISN'T FAIR... get over it.

This isn't to dismiss the actions of someone that intentionally ruins games because if they continue to do so then they will, inevitably, be punished. On the other hand, when I see people use the quarreling toddler defense of 'but he hit me too!' I have to ask, "so what? Two wrongs don't make a right".

Telling someone that they should be "gunned down in the street" is probably enough to constitute a cyber-bullying charge to be levied against someone in several states where such laws exist. While I think such laws are simply pressing down the accelerator toward the further neutering of anything remotely masculine in our culture they do represent the idea that people are tired of someone meekly hiding behind their keyboard and firing cyber salvos at others under the protection of anonymity.

We have laws against threatening someone (whether by physical violence, harming them financially or otherwise defaming them) and these have been enforced over the internet, and why? Because some people act on them. It's really about self-control and 'Dunkey' doesn't exhibit it here. Think about it, would he ever say something like that to this person if they were face-to-face? Likely not, but since he has the protection of the internet and hundreds or thousands of miles of space and the shroud of anonymity to protect him I guess he feels it's appropriate behavior.

I don't want people like that in this community and apparently neither does Riot. This is one of the few times I'll say Riot is 100% in the right and my only regret is that they don't do this a lot more often and make it more publicly known when doing so.

I'm done with "I'm done with League of Legends".

A few days ban for severe verbal bullying and death threat is light, get over it. No special treatment, he breaks the law then he suffers the toll.

Unfortunately you're all neglecting the true reason behind this post... The reason is not because I believed Dunkey did not deserve his ban, which in my post I clearly mention he does. (Please read, and not judge it based solely off the video, which was used as merely an example and setting piece.) The whole post is about whether it is in any form correct that the Malphite in question deserves to run off free of charge after deliberately ruining games.

People like this Malphite are one of the leading causes of the majority of Toxicity. I am in no way trying to say that toxicity is justified, or called for, or should be allowed to continue in league, for it cannot. I was merely stating that it is impossible to root out toxicity. This is a competitive game. People will get angry when they lose, people will get angry when they see someone do something wrong. It will happen, this is unavoidable.

The very fact we have no system to catch the real offenders is exactly the problem with league as it stands right now. They will continue to keep doing what they're doing, because there is nothing anyone can do to stop them. Report them? How in blazes do you prove it wasn't just a bad game? that is the problem, we cannot prove a blasted thing.

You people act like I am blatantly taking Dunkeys side, I most certainly am not... his ban was justified, that is not what the discussion is about, so please stop acting as if it is so.

I just said the same thing. I wasn't even as harsh as dunkey. It wasn't a threat btw, it was his hope for the future of that person. It's not a threat, and when directed at some people not even wrong to say that they should be shot. A man says "All rapists should be shot" A man is a rapist, lets call him bob. "Bob should be shot." Neither is a threat. All feeders should be shot Malhpite feeds. Malphite should be shot. His ban was for all the other stuff he said. Calling someone braindead and fucking worthless isn't ok. Also he's right. The ranked system is broken, and so is the punishment system.

ffs enough with the Dunkey posts... He is not a good example of the system being flawed... He deserved what he got end of story. The feeders on his team that "provoked" him does not excuse his behavior, the system works just fine because it banned a toxic player. Now those feeders deserve to be punished and I think this is where Riot's justice fails. WAAAAAAAAAY to often do i need to deal with these people. Now there are feeders and there are people having bad games, there is a big difference but sometimes it is hard to tell which is which. This is why the system doesn't work so well, its hard to figure out which is which sometimes.

The tribunal is a broken joke, has been for years. I was given a permaban years ago for this and to this day Riot refuses to give me a chance. Check out my recent discussion.
