Did this happen to anyone before?
I wake from sleep immobilized, unable to move my body or turn my head. I try to make a sound, but I can’t open my mouth, I feel a deep sense of dread or danger

While this is not the right place to ask about this,
This is called sleep paralysis.
Basically your brain has shut off your motor functions, which is normal while sleeping because it prevents you from trying to act out your actions while dreaming.
It's actually fairly normal, but it can certainly be frightening.
Don't worry about it. Sleep paralysis. Google it.
It is called sleep paralysis. While dreaming, you are completely paralyzed so you cant act in real life when you move in your dreams. As for this type of paralysis, I have read in a scientific magazine that you woke up before you had to, thus the brain is still confused and doesn't let you act for some seconds to some minutes. Sometimes people feel a pain in their chest, like a rock, and sometimes (I'm not sure about that) you see some weird creatures because your brain still thinks you are dreaming. As for the pain in the chest, the brain also tries to explain why are you paralyzed. It happens If: 1) You are young (most specifically young adult or teenager),2) you have stress etc. 3)Don't sleep well/Don't have a specific "schedule" when to sleep and 4) if u are under drugs, alcohol, etc. Just change the time when you sleep and you will be OK. I hope I helped :D
