Updating Skin Splash Art (Regional) Feedback

I would like to say, I'm very glad to see these regional splash arts replacing much of the ugly (usually recolored) ones that exist.

However, there are two I'm not too keen on and feel this is a downgrade:

  • Desperada Cassiopia (was planning on buying this in the near future...)
  • Red Riding Annie (have and always loved)

These two already have wonderful art. While Desperada feels closest to modern, Red Riding Annie feels spot on portraying its fairy tale esque theme.

Anyone else feel this way about a particular skin splash you like that they're replacing? Again, I personally love over 90% of the replacements from the regional art, but I'm sure there is a couple that didn't need updated (already good digital painting quality).

If you don't know which ones are being updated, check the visual list here.

I like all of the changes. In fact, I'm still baffled as to why all of the superior quality Chinese arts have not made there way onto the PBE and why didn't this change happen sooner?

There are still many Chinese Splash Arts that have not been transferred (Desert Trooper Garen, most of Karthus's skins, many of Ryze's skins, etc.). Also, why has it taken this long for Riot to do this? And what was the exact reasoning behind finally doing?

I completely disagree with you on these two Splash Arts are fantastic replacements for there previous Splashes. I feel like they should remain tell a better replacement is made.

Personally I thought that the old Splash art for Red Riding Annie was just plain horrible for Annie. Which the new Splash has Dramatically made the skin much more desirable to purchase. The old skin ( http://loldb.gameguyz.com/images/skins_big_skin_fid_path/annie-red-riding.jpg ) looked nothing like it does in game (missing button on hoodie and Tibbers doll is miss-colored)

These small points are just small reasons why the New Splash Art is a welcome improvement on the old one.
