Refunds

Well, first off, im about as new to the boards as it gets. So please excuse any errors and I'll make sure to not repeat them. I used to play League of Legends a lot when I started about a year ago, stopped on the middle and started again recently (3 days ago). When I rejoined the game I really wanted Rengar, and was willing to sell all my champions to get enough ip for him.

But then I realized you can sell only 3 items. I'd like to ask why. Because if the matter concerns rp, then there's no reason to do so because wether i sell a skin that I bought for 450 rp, and I got back 450 rp, there would be no harm done. Because in the end the 450 rp came from me paying for it. So either way riot gains some and loses none.

In the case of ip, I guess it's fair to not give back a full refund since you haven't gained anything and thus have no incentive to do so. But to get back 50% ip at least wouldn't be asking for too much. After all, it is our effort in YOUR game that helped us get it.

Now don't get me wrong, I understand that we actualy CAN do these things. But only 3 times. My question is that when you will never make a loss out of this, why limit it to three times.

I hope you understand im not pointing it out as an error, I just want to know why these aren't possible and what the reasons behind this are.
