Being a solo player sucks and playing Teemo even as a main is beginning to feel bad.

My problem with DQ as a solo player

I have to start off by saying that DQ made playing solo feel awful. I've been getting placed with pre-mades more and more, recently, and you can really feel the coordination when facing a pre-made team.

Whenever I have to face a pre-made team, my team and I can do nothing about their extreme coordination.

  • They gank really well compared to us.
  • They have better map pressure than us.
  • They have a better team comp compared to us.
  • They are usually more skilled than us.

And even playing with a random pre-made team of 3 or 4 people feels bad and I end up forgetting my team exists because of these two main things:

  • Nobody seems to ping or call when enemies are missing.
  • There is usually only coordination on the part of the pre-made team mates.

It would be nice to play with randoms or even just duo queued people because playing with and against "teams" sucks for me as a solo player.

/I do not have friends that play league, and people I meet in-game are not reliably online. /

My problem with Teemo.

This is my second account maining this little psychopath Teemo and I've found a few major problems with him in general.

  • He has good harass early game, but with a passive ability that does absolutely nothing mid to late game because it scales so badly.

  • His kit does not fit his lore in any way other than the aforementioned passive ability, which feels like more of an excuse to keep the kit and lore on the same champ. He is supposed to use poison as a main offensive item, yet the only thing he does in game is throw a giant dart or build ad because the poison does absolutely nothing when it counts. "His signature weapon - a blowgun - uses a rare ajunta poison he personally gathers from the jungles of Kumungu." Should that not be his passive instead of stealing the space of an ability?

  • His low health seems to be the trade-off for the harass he has, even though other champs, like Gnar have 2 or 300 more base health with even more harass that /doesn't fall off mid to late game /.

  • His passive stealth is almost never useful. I've only been able to use it once or twice to do anything of worth. Maybe that's just me, i don't know.

  • The only positive thing his ult does is act as a very small ward, and early game alarm with a /slight / slow.

  • His q's giant dart blinds enemies when it smacks into them, and his ult slows them when it explodes into a cloud? Kind of backwards, don't you think?

  • Riot already said he has been in a bad spot for a while in the mid-season patch. #MakeTeemoSatanAgain

This all being said, I love the little guy, but it's hard to play him since he's been neglected for so long, and there are so many other alternatives like Gnar, and he's too squishy for what little he does, so he's virtually obsolete.

Upvoted. Make him good again, because let's be honest. The only people complaining are ADC mains MABYE top mains and Bronzies.

Build him 100% AP and watch as your blinding dart 1 shots adcs

This. so much this. and even if it doesnt. the blind along with the ap damage off of your posin will drop them all too quickly. AP teemo with mpen is scary. The shrooms will send squishies back to base if it doesnt kill them and in teamfights you either flank or toss shrooms from the backline which you can bounce to their backline.

As I said before, I main him, and have for two separate accounts. AP Teemo doesn't work. Sure I can 1 shot adc's and some squishy midlaners, but what happens when I face the other top laner who built full tank, the support with near full build, and the jungler that may or may not be subscribed to the tank meta? Ap does nothing to those guys and AP Teemo is useless in team fights because he has one ability that does damage to multiple targets, but it hardly does damage. The only thing I've found that works even a little bit against the rest of the enemy team is attack speed/ad The build I currently use is item 3124 item 3022 item 3153 item 3091 item 3146 item 3085

Full AP is fun because you can delete squishies, but in no way is it viable, since at full build I can q a tank or jungler or support and have it do less than a 6th of their health in damage.

item 3124 item 3151 item 3115 item 3135 item 3020 and item 3089 or item 3022 hurts whoever it hits full build or not. itll delete squishies and has the ability to kite

AP Teemo is the best build for Teemo though.

Now, I play Teemo a LOT (was already bragging about it, but won't hurt to do it again): http://i.imgur.com/Hf5CP9M.jpg?1

And this is generally how I build: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

I don't play ranked this season, but the highest I had was Platinum 2, which I think is decent enough.

Btw. As Teemo you are supposed to avoid teamfights - since Teemo is mediocre at it. You are supposed to be the shadow of the rift, providing map and objective control, picking out squishies and slowing down advancement of enemies. Basically, you are a tactical assassin.

maybe they could make it so if you hold R down you rapid fire all your shrooms( since they bounce of eachother) that way he can actually get something into a team fight without popping like a little soap bubble
