I got only skins. I think I got 2 champion shards and I got every chest and I got my first one within 2 hours of Hextech Crafting coming out.

I bought 20 the other day, got like 70% champ shards. The whole system is a joke.

You really think Riot would just give you free stuff? I mean yes, they are - but do you think even 20% of the population is going to get their skins they want? You know how much 2500 Essence is? It's more than $20 of chests on average. I've opened up a lot.

That's unlucky? It should be 50% chance of champ shards to skins shards

He wasn't necessarily unlucky. It just means he needs to purchase more and it will eventually average out to 50%. It's like how people will get hextech annie or soulstealer vayne without even trying, but others will have to spend a ridiculous amount of money(or time).
