Bilgewater Act 1 Twisted Fate Challenges Not Being Recorded

Hi guys, I have an issue with the game. On the Bilgewater Act 1: Old Friends, Old Habits, you are required to select a champion, either Graves or Twisted Fate, to follow and you will be rewarded with a summoner icon. I went with the Twisted Fate route as I liked his icon more than the Graves one. There were 2 challenges: To gain 25000 Gold in ARAM games and to get a Total of 50 Assists in any matchmade gamemodes. Firstly, does ARAM count as a "matchmade gamemode"? I played 3 games in ARAM on the new Butcher's Bridge map and I got more than 50 when combined. I found out that you have to do the challenges in order so basically my first game's assists weren't recorded. I understand that so I went ahead and completed the 25000 Gold ARAM Challenge. However, I think I got around 50 assists in the 2nd and 3rd games. However, in the Act 1 page, it says that I still have 0/50 Total Assists. I thought maybe it was only in Summoner's Rift, so I played a game and got 9 Assists as Corki. When the game ends and I go back the the Act 1 page, it still says that I have 0/50 Total Assists! I would appreciate it a lot if someone could tell me what is happening as I really want the Twisted Fate icon as I think it looks really cool.
