Dear Riot!
I am one of the last people to give Riot complaints over issues they are clearly trying to solve. I am posting this to hopefully fix this issue in the future as it is a cause of frustration for a lot of players. Riot, we understand bugs sometimes will occur and as a result ranked might have to be taken down, I am happy that you are working to solve the issue as well. I am posting a mild complaint though. You created the time table, in which to inform the public on the status of ranked. In the service status update at around 2pm est you claim it will only be a few hours before you give us the next written update as to what is going on. I really like that you even informed us earlier in the day that the coding was done to fix the bug, Great! As a member of the community this is how in depth I would like further posts updating the situation to be. I also would like posts that follow the self created timeline you post. If you say its going to take a few hours to give us another update, please don't turn it into 6 hours without a word. I would rather you tell us "we will update you in 12 hours", if that's what it takes, instead of just keeping us hanging without understanding of the actual time frame. Many of your players, such as myself, almost exclusively play ranked(and an occasional Dominion). But if the service has no hope of being solved today, we would like to know that as soon as possible and not be "left out to dry" so to speak. Please work on having more clarity in the future.
UPDATE "We have verified the code change fixes the Recall spell issue, and are now pushing this change out to game servers in all affected regions. Once in place, final verification will occur, and then we will re-enable ranked queues. Expect another update once we either verify success and are ready to enable ranked queues, or we have found an issue and need more time."
Riot this is exactly the type of post we expect! Please continue to post like this in the future, as to not get somebody's hopes up just to "save face"
