LPL Summoner Icons

I cannot understand why LPL Summoner Icons aren't a thing for the NA region (can't speak for other regions). I understand EU and NA Summoner Icons for the NA region, but then they brought in LCK Summoner Icons. Why wouldn't LPL Summoner Icons be a thing? After all, Mid-Season Invitationals were won by an LPL Team (EDWARD GAMING!!!) Also, PawN > Faker.
