Is there a point in playing ranked since chat ban resets over and over?

As the title clearly says is there a point in playing ranked if you're chat restricted? I've been chat ban all year for no reason at all and i've asked riot why and I just get the exact email back from them every time i'm now at my 700+ chat restriction which is just ridiculous and it keeps resetting no matter what I do it's a shame that they added in an automated system that will automatically bans you if you get reported once i've never been a flamer,a troll, or a salty player i've played since 2009 and never had to deal with this. So again my question is Should I play ranked or just give up since I get no rewards? (Current division plat 2) Thank you

You have 700+ chat restrictions currently, or that's your total? If you work them off before the rewards are given out you'll get them. If you currently have 700 that's quite a bit to do though. The system checks your chat logs for verbal abuse reports; most likely you are considered toxic by the community, but you think what you say isn't crossing the line when it actually is. Even if you don't curse or insult, continually pestering people is still harassment (I often see chat logs shared where the person didn't say anything that bad, but they wouldn't shut up and kept going and going and going).

just try and get unrestricted b4 you play ranked again honestly. cause while your restiricted u wont get rewards. the reward policy also isnt set in stone i talked to a rioter and they are discussing it

I know the feel.

I went from never being banned in any way in any game to getting up to 625 games long restriction and 16 months of not being able to use /all chat in League of Legends.

The best part? I never changed my behaviour - or rather when I were literally saying "GLHF", "good job", "nice one", "good game" and nothing else every game for like 100 games, I got an even bigger chat restriction, so why would I be nice to people? - and my restrictions are going it to decline regardless.

The System is so flawless, right?
